Nicholas K 2012 Fall/Winter Collection
New York-based Nicholas K recently unveiled its latest collection for Fall/Winter 2012 at the ongoing New York 2012 Fashion Week. Best known for its contemporary designs and layered styling aesthetic, the brand’s most recent arrangement sees the infusion of some Western fashion sensibilities as well as a dark earthy color palette to match with the signature appeal. Each look offers an agreeable pairing of loose and structured garments that is often headlined by a range of hooded pullovers, biker jackets, tailored suits, utilitarian outerwear and relaxed trousers.

Brilliant idea from Fift. A t-shirt containing panels of micro-fibre in various locations to address the cleaning needs of any number of objects. While the shirt appears to come in two colors each one is available with various options. One option has micro-fibre located on the bottom panel to clean your glasses using your hands. While the other option has micro-fibre located on the top panel to clean your flat faced devices on your chest. Pretty ingenious if you ask me.
Marvy Jamoke Spring/Summer 2012 Collection
Underground Japanese label Marvy Jamoke may not be a household name, but their pieces are worthy of a lot of attention. Walking the line between contemporary and high-street fashion, these brazen pieces are anything but subdued. Yet when the right components are compiled into a look, the outcome is cohesive enough that the juxtaposition between a pair of striped 3/4 length cotton sweats and a bomber jacket, per se, can somehow be argued for.
